You can meet all these for your selfish gain and not realize it. The hard work you put into life and career, intellect, and knowing how politics fetch you all these accolades. I salute you as well. Well done.
 
But here is the issue. We are in a phase in the world right now where one stream of income cannot sustain some families anymore. Even unmarried individuals may not survive it.
 
The time to bring in your sixth sense as a mother. a woman, a guide, and a sister is now., And you need to ask how you will be the support your husband, children, ward, and family wants. Being professional and having financial independence becomes most needful and realistic.
 
I met a girl recently. she was crying because her father could not afford for her to join her mates in school due to some financial constraints. And the first thing the counselor ask is what is your mother doing?
 
But I hope the mother is capable of not being selfish. It isn't the case that my money is my money, even to the detriment of the children's well-being. And I hope the woman with no job will rise to try a vocation that might interest her.
 
Many women have got cheated out due to their benevolence to their families. You are not stupid or being a mule. You have the instinct of a mother and will prefer to see your loved ones succeed and be happy. Many have forsaken careers to ensure their children get all the support needed. Many even leave their primary abode and business to stick with their children in a foreign land.
 
Women, there is a need to come to terms. Your first assignment should be to God. to carry the children or the ward you are responsible for in your bosom. Till your own fulfill their destiny. It is a great privilege for the Almighty to commit his treasures to your hand. God boasted of Abraham and said I know He will teach his children to follow my statutes.
 
In the place of teaching the children His ways. Can the children emulate your prayer lifestyle? Wake up, woman. All will stand before the throne of grace and give accounts of what gets committed to your hands. You are not doing anything for humans but for God.
 
Be the smartest, vigilant, courageous, bold, and not afraid. You have the power, the wisdom, and the grace with you. Above it, you have the backing of the LORD. You are not a fool is a good course. Your reward is here.
