LIMITLESS MONDAY
GIVE PURPOSE A FACE AND A NAME.
I got an incredible understanding listening to "a bit of optimism podcast". I learned that when you move in life with a purpose that is abstract and your purpose does not carry a face, a name. You do it for nothing and most times do not have any impact and transformation. A person with a clear purpose will make progress on even the roughest road. A person with no purpose will make no progress even on the smoothest road. It's the purpose that keeps you going.
It is easy to explain away your inadequacies. laziness. corrupt manners. extreme wickedness. envy, and jealousies because you are doing it for yourself alone. Being in the center of attraction you care less about who gets hurt.
A parent went through a marathon. He was able to finish the last five miles by having the family face in front of him and that geared him up to finish strong.
With a name and a face in your purpose of coming to work today. It will motivate and ginger your performance. A parent who puts a face and a name to the purpose of his service will find it very difficult to corrupt. Likewise, a child who held his purpose in honor of his parents will want to be of best behavior. we are to have value and respect for what we care for.
If every worker put a name and a face to why they are at work each day. How beautiful life will be? So efficient and sincere the relationship at work will become.
You know you can do good without loving the people involved. You do it to fulfill your desires and ego. To show you have the ability and deserve respect. To receive accolades that put you in the good books of people.
A lot of charitable organizations opened up for self-glorification. Global recognition. They lose track of the humanitarian purpose.
Growing in life and in all spheres will do you a lot of good. if you carry in your loins your lineage, your loved ones, your desires to be better for the next person. "Maya Angelou said when I come as one I stand as ten thousand." I come carrying in my loins my heritage, my grandmother, my grandfather, my mother. Knowing I am fulfilling the purpose of life because of them too. Their labor of love over me will never be in vain. And that will motivate passing on a good legacy to those coming behind.
Maya said anytime I do a good thing I do it in the name of my mother. She was the purpose. She raised me to be who I am. She put a name to her good works.
If your spiritual life exercise is to live for Christ and him alone. A lot of stress and conflict will have no meaning. You walk the work of ministry knowing that the Christ you live or die for will never abandon you and will reward you. Then you will be free. Indeed.
